- Ask MailSeer turns retrieved email evidence into local answers and summaries.
Search finds the evidence. Enhanced Ranking improves the evidence. Local AI turns it into an answer.
Privacy and performance
- MailSeer does not require a cloud AI service for Ask MailSeer answers.
- Local AI runs on your computer after the required one-time downloads.
- The first answer may take longer while the local model loads.
- CPU-only systems work, but supported GPUs can improve speed.
- AI summaries can occasionally be imperfect; the original email remains authoritative.
Windows SmartScreen during MailSeer installation
A newly released signed version of MailSeer may initially trigger a “Windows protected your PC” warning while SmartScreen reputation builds.
Verify the publisher is Nikhilesh Vaidya and that the installer came from SearchSeerAI or the official GaussEuler/MailSeer-Releases GitHub page. Then choose Run anyway to continue.
Do not continue if the publisher is different or missing.
Windows compatibility
MailSeer 0.2.0 for Windows supports 64-bit Intel and AMD PCs (x64). Windows on Arm is not supported in this release.
